GFE vague vs. guy wanting sex acts listed
GFE vague vs. guy wanting sex acts listed - My response on Canadian board since can not pay for sex in the U.S.

Yesterday get a nice e-mail from frustrated guy who can't find in Phoenix the kind of massage he reads about from my zillions of old reports from Canada about great adult body rubs. Today a friend from Toronto who I talk to every few weeks calls and asks if I might jump in on a GFE thread on terb.ca where I use to be very active and well known for my more sensual side reviews when in Canada.

My last Canadian trip and postings were from July 2009. I find lots of PM's asking when I might return since enjoyed all my reviews. They go back to late 2009 and lots in 2010! I don't get e-mail notification so never knew of them before.

The issue on the thread is a guy that thinks escorts should list there specific sex act options vs vague terms like GFE (no legal issue in Canada at least for outcall). I post:

I agree that its is demeaning to list specific sex acts someone received in a review or listing and then expect everyone will receive the same. Escorts are not sex machines where you put in dollars into her hand and her mouth and vagina pops open allowing you various acts for the price.

If she advertises bare services some more health conscious potential clients might avoid her.

To some folks amazement escorts are humanoids with emotions and they may feel comfortable doing some things with some guys and not with others.

While you don't have the legal issue of only paying for time as we do in the U.S. it still is an issue with other than outcall.

Long before websites, forums or e-mail I was one of the first to coin the term GFE. Back in the days of 300 baud phone connections, packet readers from newsgroups such as sex.alt.prostitution. Before GFE got selfishly perverted by men customers, it had nothing to do with high health risk sex acts. We know now the HIV risk is almost nil but there are lots of other nasty's one can get from unsafe, unprotected sex.

GFE meant a human connection for the moment girlfriend like more on a total level, emotional for the moment (yes it does happen other than a women's body just a fxx and suck machine.) To me its expressed via sensual caring intimate touch which to me is far more fulfilling than just a sex object. When done legally of course I enjoy more intimate sexuality.

If you care about the G (irl) as a F (riend) you obviously would want to use a condom to protect herself and you want to be sure she uses one on all her customers. Many STD's have no obvious signs and if you care enough about your own health you would also want to always use a condom.

Now if you are both willing to take the heath risk, and based on trusting each other you want to go bare, some escorts are willing. I would not want to risk it since if she is doing it with me she is doing it with others. While the STD risk is small, I am not willing to take that risk because I value my own health too much and if its a GFE you should value her health -

Dave notes to U.S. readers this does not apply in the U.S. we don't have the sexual freedoms most of the world enjoys and can never discuss any sex acts for money unlike in Canada etc.

Is there any chance in this political climate that this country will ever adopt Canadian or European attitude towards sexual freedoms?
GFE could mean you go see woman she starts nagging about how we should take care of ourselves and dress, clean the house etc.. like a real girlfriend.

If the question was worded to voters not to enforce in private consenting adult prostitution in many cities a voter referendum would probably pass in many cities.

There was great support both in San Francisco and Berkeley with great organization SWOP did. However overwhelmingly rejected only because it included public nuisance street hookers.

We have never had a serious organized group to stand up for consenting in private adults rights or the great Constitutional issues raised in Lawrence vs Texas.

Most legislators would repeal the laws since the religious right and anti-sex groups have such a strong voice in legislatures especially in Arizona.

It is similar to the current fantasy debt crisis and where polls consistently show the public wants a combination of higher tax revenues on the most wealthy that enjoy among the lowest tax rates in the world and in U.S. history. But certain groups are focused on the fantasy of deficit crisis vs jobs and a stronger economy. Citizens are often not in tune with those that claim they know what is best for us and make the laws, yet they still get elected often by gullible voters that believe lies and distortions vs taking the time to research facts.

In sexwork all most folks hear about is street hookers, children and trafficking and many groups make lots of money promoting the fantasy that is what sexwork is about. Probably 90% of it worldwide is in private consenting adults, no big issue in most of the world except the U.S.

No the history of the United States was that religious zealots (Puritans) who were essentially kicked out of England founded the original 13 colonies. During the American Revolution, Canada felt it had more in common with England than it did the 13 colonies with all their religious fanatics who were burning witches. Clearly, Europe and Canada are socially far more advanced and ahead of the United States. They already banned the death penalty long ago, abolished slavery much quicker than us, they have red light districts, and they do not need a police state to keep people in line like the do in the USA. We have more people in prison, per capita, in the United States than Canada or Europe and I think a lot of government jobs depend on arresting and prosecuting people and imprisoning them.
